Dear Friends, Surfers, Fellow Travellers (that strange tribe), Jewish Mothers (that even stranger tribe), and all those who may happen to fall upon us: We have arrived safe and sound in Pakistan and are taking a few days rest and minor illness in Quetta, a bizarre town on the Eastern reaches of Baluchistan where Afghans, Baluchis, Pashtunis, Punjabis, and Westerners meet over a warm tea. Aside from resting, getting used to the Oriental Madness, and preparing East of Eden for her next push Onward, we are also preparing our dispatches for Iran and so soon, right here on this channel, you will be able to read about Esfahan, the Jews of Shiraz, getting arrested in Tabriz, camping out in the Wilds, as well as see pictures of beautiful scenery, and one or two mosques. Stay tuned and love to all Mair and Marie-Do |
